Indiana Motocross ParksAkronHangtime: A network of trails winds through 135 acres, the two wooded areas and a five-acre lake offers great fishing. Track length is 1-1/2 miles. There is also a Pee-Wee track and playground. Camping is allowed. (219) 893-1649. Butler Tri-State Motocross: The longest-running track in the state. Open riding is allowed on the 40-acre park. Half is open land and the other half is wooded. A lighting system is being developed, and Saturday night races are in the works. There is also a 1/4-mile Pee-Wee track. (219) 637-8050. Charlestown Podium One Motoplex: This 32-acre former motor speedway has flushing toilets, a parts and accessory store and pro performance shop. There are 14 Saturday night and Sunday events. The track offers full facilities including a kiddie playground, fishing lake and air-conditioned concessions. They hold ten Saturday night races and an occasional Sunday race during the racing season. (888) 957-7223. Indianapolis Knobby Hills Motocross: Sitting on 80 acres, Knobby Hills is known for its distinctly different layout for each annual event. The 1.1-mile course runs through a rocky area, but the stones are carefully picked off the track. (317) 758-6200. Linton Bakersfield Raceway: It has been the site of District 15 Championship finale. This 60-acre spot has a 1.7-mile circuit is mainly an outdoor layout, but has a 75-foot uphill double. A 1/5-mile go-kart dirt oval and a 1/5-mile sprint car oval are also on the land.
